Getting to Lightning Ridge is always easy. We think driving is the best way to get to the 'Ridge' and explore the Mine Fields. If you are looking for a fast weekend of exporation then you could fly in and use the Local Tour Companies to show you about. There is a 4WD Taxi on call for all other travel around town.
Getting to know the locals in our Tavern is also a good way to get an invitation to visit a working mine.
