All facilities are air-conditioned and well maintained. Our friendly staff are always there to ensure your visit to the "Black Opal Capital of the World" is a pleasant and enjoyable one.
Our friendly staff are always on hand to talk with you and arrange all your accommodation needs while staying in Lightning Ridge, we can also organise local tours for you. All online reservation enquiries will be answered quickly during normal business hours, otherwise they will be answered as soon as the Reception Desk in open again. Please telephone us for immediate reservation enquiries at all other times.
Our 40 Motel rooms are log cabin in design and they radiate atmosphere with warmth & style.
All rooms are fully air-conditioned and have tea & coffee making facilities . We offer King, Queen, Twin, Single, Triple, Disabled and Family room types. You will find your stay here with us a pleasant & memorable one.
A great place for a relaxing drink!
Our on-site hotel is the perfect place for a drink, you can relax in the lounge bar or outdoor beer garden, have a game of pool or darts or share a drink and tale with the locals in the miner’s bar. Our hotel provides entertainment on Friday evenings with either a DJ or Live Band. Meat raffles are also held on Friday evenings and each alternate Sunday afternoon a market day with raffles is held in our lounge bar to raise money for local charities.
Our caravan park section offers cabin style accommodation, powered caravan sites and camping ground facilities, all of which are centrally located to our amenities block and a gas BBQ and sink area.
All Cabins are fully self contained with linen provided. The Cabins consist of a double bed, a sofa that turns into another bed and a set of single bed bunks and a small kitchenette, alternately there is a gas B.B.Q area located just behind the cabins which is free for guests of the complex to use. 5 of our Cabins have there own en-suite (just step outside your door) while the other 5 are right opposite our Caravan Park amenities.
All Cabins are air-conditioned for your comfort.
Nobbies a'la Carte Restaurant & Cocktail Bar
Our a la carte restaurant is open for your dining pleasure every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening from 6.30 pm or on any other evening by reservation only. Offering a variety of delicious and sumptuous meals that are assured to tantalise and delight!!!

Open every day serving breakfast, lunch & dinner. (Closed for lunch on Mondays)
Getting to Lightning Ridge is easy! If your driving or taking a bus Lightning Ridge is situated approximately 750km northwest of Sydney and approximately 750 km southwest of Brisbane. Regular flights are available, but only www.airlinkairlines.com.au flies directly to Lightning Ridge. Saturday & Sunday: 7am - 6pm.
All other times please attend the Bottle Shop or Hotel for reception upon arrival or if you are contacting us by telephone your call will be routed to these locations after hours.
